Ahead of the upcoming African Cristal Festival Awards scheduled to hold from May 10 – May 12 2017 in Marrakesh, Morocco, a select few have been chosen amongst distinguished global industry professionals to perform the role of speakers and jurors. Mr Udeme Ufot is a renowned Advertising professional with over 33 years of practice and Co-founded one of the most sought after marketing communications Group in Nigeria. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Past President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Past President of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association (LBSAA), Board Director of Special Olympics Nigeria, Member of the Board of Directors, Nigerian Economic Summit Group and was recently conferred with a prestigious national honour of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic in 2014 by the Federal Government for his outstanding impact on the Nigerian Advertising Industry and Corporate Nigeria.
His unwavering commitment and service in the Advertising Industry has made him a much sought after Speaker at local and International Marketing Communication Conferences as well as entrepreneurship programmes including the FATE Foundation where he is a facilitator for the institution’s training programmes where he shares his marketing and entrepreneurial skills with aspiring entrepreneurs. He has also facilitated several AAAN, APCON and NIMN training programmes.
Being the only Nigerian on the International Chambers of Commerce Marketing and Advertising Commission, the inclusion of Mr. Udeme Ufot in this year’s edition of the African Cristal Festival Awards as a Speaker and Juror further recognizes his contributions to the growing marketing communications industry in Africa.
