And so, it was for Mojisola Saka the Chief Operating Officer of Soulcomms, at the recently held Marketing Edge Award for Excellence where she was awarded the “Outstanding PR Personality of the Decade” for having distinguished herself as well as her invaluable contributions to the Integrated Marketing Communications industry over the year and decade.
The event, which is the biggest and largest gathering of marketing communications professionals, recognizes and celebrates the industry’s best for their immense contribution to the continuing evolution of the Nigerian Marketing Communications industry.
Mojisola Saka holds sway as one of the top female executives in the Marketing and Communications sector. She has over the last 10 years led Soulcomms- a leading strategic communications and engagement consultancy in a seemingly male dominated sector with sustained growth and expansion including into retail trade support services and e-commerce.
Moji holds the reputation of a generalized & specialized Marcomms expert. An ideology she mentors to young and upcoming marketing communications practitioners especially women. She is a strong advocate for challenging the norm and perception bias of women as a weak gender by constantly providing counsel to young career women on integrating work and personal life towards achieving great feats.
She is also an alumnus of the International School of Communications, London and a member of CIPR, UK and NIPR. She served as a two term Treasurer of PRCAN. She served on the Event Planning Sub-Committee of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) for 4years and was the nominated Chair of the Media & Publicity Sub- Committee for NES 25. She is strategy lead for Soulcomms on support to Leap Africa and Special Olympics Organization in communication needs. She is a board member of NASFAT’s LASILKIIN Communication and also member, Board of Trustee at Slum Art Foundation.
