The immediate past Managing Director of Guinness Nigeria, Seni Adetu has been appointed by Fidelity Bank Plc as an independent non-executive director.
Adetu served at highest levels with several A- list companies such as John Holt Plc, Coca -Cola International and Diageo/Guinness in and outside the shores of Africa.
Adetu served before as Managing Director of Coca-Cola English West Africa with office in Ghana as well as the first African Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman of Guinness Ghana plc, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Diageo East Africa in Kenya and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Guinness Nigeria Plc until 2014.
An astute marketer who is versed in the art of growing Fast Moving Consumer Goods,was named the runner up Forbes/CNBC Business leader and CEO of the year 2012 in East Africa.
A graduate of Chemical Engineering and an MBA holder in marketing both from University of Lagos. With a solid FMCG experience in Sales and Marketing and General Management spanning 27years, working in various countries across the African continent, Seni has become an African icon in the business of managing Consumer Packaged Goods.
He is reputed for causing the growth of, and inspiring, a new generation of African leaders.
