African leaders in private and public sectors, civil society and academia have concluded plans to gather in Lagos during the African Leadership Review Summit and Awards, to discuss issues affecting Africa and how the continent can harness its vast resources to enhance the development of African people.
The summit themed: “Transformational Leadership in a Changing World’ would be held on July 7th, 2023 at Four Points By Sheraton in Victoria Island Lagos would have in attendance Tshilidzi Marwala, Arunma Oteh, Hamad Buamim, Mohammed Dewaji, Niyi Adesanya, Pat Utomi, Fred Swanker, Dr. Peter Chee, Barbara Kellerman,Moussa Faki Mahamot, Kashim Shettima Mustapha, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Makhtar Diop, DrAkinwumi A Adesina, Prof. Benedict Oramph and H. E Wankele Nene.
According to the statement released by Africa Leadership Review Media Limited, “Africa Leadership Excellence Summit (ALEX) is set to be an informative and inspiring day of new ideals, stimulating and renowned speakers dedicated to driving forward leadership excellence debates.
“The summit will be providing delegates with greater understanding of how operational effectiveness and efficiency is vital to organizational success. It is aimed at anyone looking to improve leadership competence, organization performance and networking opportunities”.
The chief executive officer of ALEX 2023, Mrs. Ifeioam Emeka stated that Excellence in Corporate Enterprise and Leadership (EXCEL AFRICA 2023) awards is an initiative to celebrate selected Africa personalities and organizations, who have made an impact on the development of Africa Economy through their Leadership experience in their different field of endeavors.
The Winners of EXCEL AFRICA would have made Outstanding Contributions to the Development of the Continent, the Economic aspiration of its Citizenry and the Transformation of Africa’s image in the international arena.
“Based on verifiable criteria gathered through voluntary disclosure and opening available data, we seek to rate leadership/institutions on their performance over that year in various aspects of Leadership Excellence. The Essence of the Excel Africa Award is to encourage Excellence in Leadership and Competitiveness in Africa,” she said.
According to her this will bring about a better standard of living and greater welfare for all of Africa. The criteria for Winners have been carefully selected to give an unbiased and variable outcome as possible.
