It was glitz and glamour on Friday, November 29, 2019 as the Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) honoured Mr. Charles Udoh, Commissioner for Information, Akwa Ibom State with the prestigious award as Best Information Manager/Commissioner (Public Service) at the 7th Brands and Marketing Conference held in Lagos.
The Commissioner was honoured alongside other outstanding personalities and organizations for their immense contributions to the growth of the Nigerian economy.
The annual conference which is the seventh edition by the association, attracted stakeholders from the Nigerian Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) industry and other professionals across other sectors of the economy.
The event was preceded by the award ceremony, before the main paper for the day which had the theme:“Survival Amidst Harsh Economy: Inside Stories of Top Brands”.
