The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has nominated the Managing Director/CEO of Tall and Wide Advertising Limited, Toye Arulogun as commissioner in Oyo State as he submitted the names of Commissioners to the State House of Assembly for clearance.
Arulogun’s name alongside other nominees are expected be cleared by the state assembly led by Honourable Michael Adeyemo.
Other names on the list are Abimbola Adekanbi, Atinuke Oshikoya, Abimbola Kolade,Taibat Adaba, Barrister Oyewole Oyewunmi, Barrister Abayomi Oke, Wasiu Dauda, Ajiboye Omodewu, Issaac Ishola and Abdul Ganiyu Mudasiru. Other nominees are Oluwaseun Abimbola, Professor Niyi Olowofela, Dr Azeez Adeduntan and Fatai Salawu.
Speaking on the nominees, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Strategy, Yomi Layinka said the nominees were carefully selected after due consultations with stakeholders and representatives in government. He stated that they are competent people who can hold their heads high at all times.
It would be recalled that Toye Arulogun, an active member of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has been working with Governor Ajumobi as the adviser on Public Affairs and Communications before his nomination as a commissioner.
Arulogun started his advertising career with Lintas as a copy writer and later joined SO&U where he rose to the position of Director, before he left to set up his own company.
