As part of collaborative efforts with Total EP Nigeria Ltd, Total Nigeria Plc participated at the Nigeria Annual International Conference & Exhibition – Society of Petroleum Engineers (NAICE – SPE) conference and Exhibition from August 2-4, 2016 at the Eko Hotel, Lagos.
Over the years, NAICE has grown to become the largest upstream Oil and Gas annual event in Africa that attracts well renowned petroleum engineers in and outside Nigeria. It has continuously served as one of the industry’s opportunity to learn, debate and challenge ideas to chart the right course towards a sustainable future for the industry.
This year’s theme was “Transparency in the Oil & Gas Business: An Imperative for Energy Security and Stability”. Total was one of the Major sponsors of the event amongst others.
Products showcased at the exhibition include TOTAL Lubricants, TOTAL Card, Awango by Total solar lamps and Solar Home Solutions.
Several presentations ranging from Human Resources, Medical, Procurement and Specialties were done in Total’s Booth by key personnel from both Total Upstream and Downstream divisions.
A technical presentation on lubricants for the oil and gas Industry was presented by the Lubricants Technical Manager, Mr. Ken Oseghale while a presentation on Solar: The Future of Energy was handled by a representative from the Solar Business Unit, Mrs. Kate Ogu-Oige.
