Founder, Africa Christian Broadcasting Network (ACBN) and chieftain of the Labour Party, Prince Moses Samuel has declared his intention to join the contest for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of the Labour Party in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking recently at the Lagos Airport Hotel, venue of his formal declaration ceremony, Moses Samuel stressed that 2019 election is about redefining the glory of Nigeria and restoring her economic abundance. PMS, as he is fondly called by his admirers and political associates, expressed deep concern over the plight of Nigerians occasioned by the negative change the present administration has brought upon them.
The presidential aspirant said the Labour party administration under him would provide alternative change which would alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians.
Speaking to party faithful and supporters in Lagos on May Day, Prince Samuel whose campaign slogan is tagged, “Believe 2019” promised to pursue a 4 point agenda of human capital development, civil service/institutional reforms, infrastructural development and trade and economic reform if elected
He reiterated his avowed commitment for a better Nigeria, stressing that the Labour Party is not a ‘third force’ political party but the ‘first youth force’ political party which is on a rescue mission to redirect the affairs of Nigeria. His words: “I have come here today as I declare my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to tell Nigerians that I believe that Nigeria has not gone beyond redemption. Nevertheless, I believe in Nigeria where there is nothing fundamentally wrong with Nigeria as we have everything it takes to transform this nation into an enviable nation with a viable and thriving economy.”
In his remark, the Delta State chairman of the party, Chief Anthony Ezeagu said the LP had brought a message of hope that would take Nigerians to greater heights and called on all Nigerians to support Prince Moses and the party to salvage the country.“My presence here today shows that Delta state is in full support of Prince Samuel Moses. The Labour party is the only credible party that can provide alternative. We are not going to change the change but we are going to provide the change Nigerians are looking for,” he said.
Other Chieftains at the event include National Vice-Chairman/ South East Leader, Comrade Innocent Sunday Okeke; National Vice-Chairman/ South West Leader, Alhaji Bashir Lamido; and Party Youth Leader, Clement Odum.
The Party Youth Leader, Clement Odum promised to mobilize Nigerian Youths to emancipate the country through the 2019 elections. His Words: “Nigerians are suffering and we all need genuine change. We are all in full support of the candidature of Moses Samuel, the man God has anointed to lead Nigeria to the land of promise. We must not play with 2019 election. Labour party will rescue this country,”
