This festive season, Indomie Noodles embraced the Christmas spirit by celebrating love, gratitude, and togetherness through its Season to Show Some Love campaign. Reflecting on the importance of family, friends, and special moments, Indomie aimed to make this Christmas unforgettable for Nigerians.
The campaign kicked off with a heartwarming TV commercial featuring Indomie Santa, who quickly became the face of the season. To deepen engagement, Indomie Santa launched a digital campaign on social media, asking fans to share stories about those who had shown them love in 2024. The reward? A surprise visit from Santa and his cheerful elves to express appreciation for those who had made a difference.
After reviewing over 300 touching stories, four winners were selected—two from Lagos and two from Ibadan. These included Tochi Ibe, who celebrated her uncle, Julius Chibueze, for stepping in as a father figure during tough times, and Busayo Enilari, who thanked Olapeju Arisoyin, a kind stranger who supported her sister while she pursued her studies.
In Ibadan, Olalade honored her mother, while Temidayo Ifeolu expressed gratitude for his parents’ endless love and sacrifices.
The surprises began on December 21st in Lagos, where Santa and his elves danced into the homes of the winners, bringing joy and tears of happiness. On December 22nd, the celebrations continued in Ibadan, where Santa and his team spread love, music, and laughter. The winners, including Mrs. Ifeolu, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for being nominated and celebrated by Indomie.
The celebrations expanded beyond the winners’ homes, with entire communities joining in the fun. They danced, took photos, and enjoyed steaming bowls of Indomie noodles, embodying the ripple effect of love within a community.
Rahmotallahi Adeniyi, Indomie Nigeria’s Digital Marketing Manager, highlighted the digital strategy’s Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok, “Our Digital approach was the heartbeat of the Indomie Santa Surprise campaign, leading the launch with a captivating TVC across Indomie Nigeria’s platforms and bringing Santa to life on Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
